About Peaks Coffee Co Colombia Finca El Mirador Lot #0037

One of the most interesting coffees we’ve had the opportunity to source in a while. Our dear friend Stephen (He attended and graduated from Syracuse University) from Tusa Specialty Coffee hit us up with 5 different day lots from Finca El Mirador, a 3.6 hectare farm (roughly 9 acres) located in Huila, Colombia. Day lots are where a producer separates multiple crops from different parcels on their farm. Out of all the lots we tasted, lot #0037 blew us away. Juicy watermelon and grapefruit, a complex sugary sweetness that ranged from raw/cane sugar to acacia flowers, and a big apricot finish. This coffee was just dying to be on our selves (and yours, lets be real). This lot had 3 bags total, so we purchased them all!
