Alex is a second generation coffee producer, and learned the craft from his father. His experience and dedication lead him to plant red catuai on his farm. In the cup you will notice spice undertones, deep sweetness, with a remarkable acidity. The Matas De Minas region is perfect for growing specialty coffee. Producers in this region take extra time to plant trees with plenty of spacing handpick ripe cherries, sort imperfections; all of this leading to a complex and nuanced cup. This lot of Mr. Chaga's coffee was 50 bags, and we were lucky enough to get them all.
