CENFROCAFE will always hold a special place in our hearts because they produced the very first coffee we purchased as a company back in 2014! This marks our 5th season now of working with this great group of producers! It is one of the leading cooperatives in Peru in terms of both volume and quality. Extreme care is taken in every step of the process from ripe cherry selection to processing to drying. CENFROCAFE is also one of the largest cooperatives in Peru in terms of volume, producing 26 million+ pounds of coffee a year. It's impressive to see such a sweet, balanced and complex coffee such as this produced at that scale! In the cup, look for almond and cocoa flavors with a lemony acidity and a silky body. Balanced and complex! This coffee is Fair Trade Certified and Certified Organic. We're proud to offer this year's crop of one of our perennial favorites!
