This coffee is from Acatenango, a region new to coffee ten years ago. Only recently have producers in Acatenango been able to process coffee cherry locally, which is a huge step toward quality. The Cap family is pretty big, and there are several brothers and sisters producing coffee in lots on the family farm; Don Julio oversees them all, and this coffee is his selection of the best coffees from ten of his siblings’ parcels.
