About Bootstrap Coffee Roasters Decaf Peru Cenfrocafe
This is now the third season that we have worked with this great cooperative. Cenfrocafe is a cooperative that is world-renowned for its quality. It also is one of the largest cooperatives in Peru. They are hyper-focused on sustainability and running an efficient operation (both of which are at the heart of Bootstrap!). There are programs in place to increase production of its member-producers through investing in organic fertilization (which helps keep the plants healthy and strong during leaf rust outbreaks). This is a really clean, fully washed decaffeinated coffee. This coffee is also Fair Trade Certified and Certified Organic (abbreviated as FTO). In the cup, look for a big, creamy body with peanut, spice and a touch of orange acidity. Its a great decaf!
